▼What is "3D Secure 2.0"?
"3D Secure 2.0" is a service designed to make credit card payments on the internet more secure.
Risk-based authentication is carried out based on the card user's payment information and other data.
The majority of transactions are authorised without additional authentication, and only transactions deemed high risk are subject to additional authentication, such as a one-time password.

If you select a credit card as your payment method, your credit card company will be judged when you press the ‘Confirm’ button on the payment details confirmation page.
If the risk is judged to be high, the identity authentication screen provided by the credit card company will be displayed.
If your identity is verified and authenticated on the identity verification screen using a one-time password or fingerprint authentication, you will proceed to credit card authorisation. If the credit is approved, the payment is completed.
(If the risk is judged to be low, the identity authentication screen will not be displayed and the payment will be completed after credit is granted.)
